"Merlin" is a British fantashy-adventure tv series that begun its broadcast on 20 September 2008 on BBC One. Since then 39 episodes have been produced (3 seasons, 13 episodes each). The developpers of "Merlin" (also known as "The Adventures Of Merlin") are Julian Jones, Jake Michie, Julian Murphy and Johnny Capps. The series is based on the Arturian Legends when the mythic magician Merlin aided Prince Artur but there are lots of differences with the original legend (for example, the age of Merlin). After the first succesful season, American broadcaster NBC begun airing the programme on 21 June 2009. The second season began airing on 19 September 2009 on BBC One and the third one began on 11 September 2010,and ended on 4 December 2010. A fourth season is also confirmed on 25 October 2010.
